Giving the Power Back to Artists: How WORLDOFi Intends to Revolutionize the Entertainment Industry

On August 28, 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his famed "I Have a Dream" speech in front of more than 250,000 civil rights supporters on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

Dr. King's speech resonated with the nation as he described a world where "little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boy's and white girls as sisters and brothers."

WORLDOFi's #IHaveADreamProject was inspired by the late Dr. King's ability to visualize a a more perfect future for American citizens, and dedication to working towards making his vision a reality. When CEO Liiko Willis, and Marketing Director, Dami Akande started the company, they had a dream of providing a community for young, emerging artists to work together to perfect their respective crafts.

After a full year of business, WORLDOFi, is ready to extend its services to more artists. The #IHaveADreamProject is the company's transition into turning its dream into a reality. WOi provides artists with the ability to grow their brand while learning how to protect their independent business, which is the future that Willis and Akande always dreamed of creating.

“My Dream has always been to help as many people as possible," said Liiko. "And I’m not going to stop pushing myself until WORLDOFi is the Artist Revolution that shifts the power back into the creators' hands.”
